Barry D. Johnson

An attorney and partner in the Dallas based law firm of SettlePou, Barry practices in the firm’s Banking and Lending sections, representing banks, hedge funds, non-traditional lender and other secured creditors in regulatory and financing transactions. Barry attended SMU Law School earning a JD degree in 1986. At SMU, Barry was an editor of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. His undergraduate degree is from Rhodes College (BA Political Science and Economics, 1983). Barry is a cellist, minoring in music performance at Rhodes. Today Barry enjoys chamber music, performing as part of the PARSio Trio, a Fort Worth-based piano trio, and performing with various duo partners.
